PetiteKnit Knitting Patterns Cardigans & Jackets Fingering / 4Ply Fluffy Knit-in-the-round Top-down Construction Two Yarns Held Together

Product Information

This is a printed knitting pattern for the Jenny Jacket that has been designed to be knit with two strands of fine yarn held together to make a soft yet light garment.

This is the V-Neck version but there is also a Crew Neck version of the Jenny Jacket available here.

The Jenny Jacket V-neck is worked from the top down in a knitted smock pattern. First, the back yoke is worked back and forth and short rows are worked to shape the slant of the shoulders. After this, stitches are picked up and knitted along the top of the back yoke to work the shoulders and then the fronts. The body is joined at the underarms and worked back and forth on a circular needle. The sleeves are worked in the round in the smock pattern. At the end, stitches are picked up and knitted along the front edges and a double knitted front packet is worked.
