Wednesday: 10am to 3pm
Thursday: 10am to 3pm
Friday: 10am to 3pm
Saturday: 10am to 3pm
Sunday, Monday: Closed

Knitnstitch offers a range of quality products - from international and leading NZ sourced yarn, to parts & accessories, notions, needles, spinning, weaving and felting requirements and kits - covering the full spectrum of knitting, crochet and textile craft needs for most budgets and for every ability level.

Our Retail shop has a wide range of stock on offer to see and experience alongside helpful knowledgeable staff to help you from start to finish with your project.

What we strive to do in our Retail Shop is to engage the maker-customer, not merely to shop but to explore the many choices there are in terms of design, colour, technique, fibre choice and tactile experiences in their hand knitting and hand craft.

Where people want to undertake making garments, we can help guide them through fit, style & silhouette, as well as the technical aspects of the textile they will be making with respect to suitability, durability and laundering care. This accords with my own personal ethic which is for handmade, couture garments – sewn and knitted - with care and attention to quality and a focus on enjoying the amount of time involved in this making process.

Our point of difference is that we allow our customers to enter into a creative collaborative space to really experience what artisan yarns and quality tools of making are all about.

The Knitnstitch Online Store operates 24/7 and orders are processed from Tuesday to Friday except for orders received during Public Holidays and our Annual Shutdown period.

As we are a small business and we value our time with family and friends, our Retail shop will be Closed on New Zealand Public Holidays: including Waitangi Day, Easter Friday and Easter Monday, Anzac Day, Kings Birthday, Matariki, Labour Weekend, Christmas Day and Boxing Day and New Years Day.
