Shipping policy

Knitnstitch online store operates 24/7 and orders are typically processed from Tuesday to Friday except for orders received on Public Holidays and During our Annual Christmas New Year Shutdown.

If you are really stuck for a last minute gift, we suggest purchasing a digital Gift Card which has immediate delivery to your email. 

Pickup from store / Click and Collect - simply order online. We will advise you when your order is ready for pickup from our retail store at 373 Dominion Road, Mt Eden, Auckland.

New Zealand - by courier.  All Courier charges include packaging, shipping and any Variable Fuel Rate charges and Rural Surcharges.  We do not have access to domestic or international letter service at this time.

Some Bulky items will incur extra charges. 

Free delivery and handling for all NZ orders over $200.00.

  • Auckland Urban - $6.00
  • Auckland Rural* - $11.50
  • North Island Urban - $8.00
  • North Island Rural* - $13.50
  • South Island Urban - $10.00
  • South Island Rural* - $15.50

*Rural Delivery addresses pay $5.70 extra per service. Any order which has the incorrect shipping rate will be adjusted and balance of payment will be requested.

International - Note we are unable to provide shipping to areas outside of NZ and Australia at this time.

Australia - by NZ Post International Economy Air Parcel (IECON)

  • Postage and Packing Rates start at NZ$35 for up to a 1kg volumetric small parcel. For orders that weigh more than 1kg, we will contact you with an updated shipping cost and request for payment.
  • No Tracking.
  • No Insurance.
  • No Free shipping applies.
  • No Bulky items are available on this service.
  • The expected delivery time from sending to destination address is 10 working days. 
  • If you want an expedited Courier shipping with insurance and tracking, please contact us prior to finalising your order at checkout for an estimate of the cost of this service.

Shipping Agents
 Orders are shipped by NZ Post courier service which normally is a very reliable operator.

Any Issues?
If you have not received your order within 5 working day (NZ) or 14 working days (international) please email shop@knitnstitch.co.nz so it can be investigated.
