PetiteKnit Knitting Patterns Cardigans & Jackets Fingering / 4Ply Fluffy Knit-in-the-round Two Yarns Held Together

Product Information

This is the crew neck version of the Jenny Jacket V-Neck which has been designed to be knit with three strands of fine yarn held together to make a soft yet light garment.

The Jenny Jacket is worked from the bottom up in a knitted smock pattern. The body and sleeves are worked separately and then gathered on the circular needle for the yoke. The yoke is worked with short rows at the top to shape the neckline. The body is worked back and forth, while the sleeves are worked in the round, either on double-pointed needles or on a circular needle using the Magic Loop technique. At the end, stitches are picked up along the front edges to knit the button bands or plackets. At the end, the neck edge is worked.
