mYak is about a yarn (or more)  with a great story. 

Perhaps you know of the nomadic herders of the Tibetan Plateau. The Italian founders of mYak have been living and working with them for more than twenty years. Over time Paola and Andrea have become a bit nomadic, too. They've learned to appreciate the Tibetan traditions, to respect what they love and believe in, to share their way of life and work.

The collaboration of these very different peoples from different cultures is more than simply purchasing the fibre obtained from the combing of the baby yaks and the cashmere goats. Practically this means promoting the care for the environment, ethically and sustainably harvesting the fibre and respecting the unique Tibetan nomadic population's culture. Together they are contributing towards a positive future which we are able to share in.
