Katia Lino 100% is the perfect natural lightweight linen yarn for the long warm weather.
100% linen adds a fresh summery touch to openwork jumpers, men’s jackets and between season waistcoats. A marvellous crisp plied yarn for knitting and crocheting spectacular bags and hats as well as decorative cushions.
** We have categorised this yarn as a fingering which is also what Katia has done on the Ravelry listing here. However, recently we have seen it being alloted a DK AND 10ply weight category. After some thought, we still deem it a finer weight yarn but is so very adaptable, that you can pick a much larger hook or knitting needle size to work a pattern with a smaller gauge. If you want sheer transparency, go big needle/hook, for finer garments that are not see-through, select a smaller needle/hook size

Construction: plied Z Twist
Meterage: 150 metres per 50g ball
Suggested Gauge: 17 stitches x 23 rows swatch in stocking stitch on 5mm needles or as pattern recommends.
Needle size: Any size from 3mm to 6mm depending on pattern and recommended gauge.
Crochet Hook size: Between 2.5mm
Care / Launder: Machine washable at 30ºC Short tumble drying, Lay flat to dry, Low iron.
