Pattern for a range of Summer accessories to crochet in a cool blend of linen, cotton and natural silk DK / 8Ply yarn. Complete the set with lots of scope to customise your colour preferences.
Includes instructions for:
- Striped bucket style beach hat
- Kerchief head scarf
- handy bottle carrier
One size with approximate finished measurement:
Hat (head circumference approx.) 54cm
Kerchief 48cm (measured along the straight edge - minus the ties on the handle)
Water Bottle Carrier (to fit a water bottle with circumference of around 24cm (750ml)
Gauge: not crucial but should be on the loose side for drape.
Note Uses British Crochet Terminology.
Hat Approx. yardage: 5 x 50g hanks (based on 120 metres per 50 gram hank or ball) - one each of 5 colours.
Kerchief: One hank each of 2 colours
Water Bottle Carrier: 2 hanks for long handle version, 1 hank for short handle version.
Hook sizes: 4mm and 3mm. 3.25mm and 3.5mm will cover all the projects.
Also requires small amount of poly fibre fill and tapestry wool needle.
Designed in Rosarios 4 Principe Real DK/8Ply (50% Linen, 36% Cotton and 14% Natural Silk) or suitable for any DK/ 8 Ply wool yarn.
