Hand Painted Socks 4ply Super Fine Merino 100g

Hand Painted socks 4ply Super Fine Merino is a delicate 19 micron Merino sock weight  wool, individually hand painted in artisan craft studios and Woolmark approved. It will knit to any 4ply fingering pattern for either socks or any light garment.

Use on its own or combine for interesting and one of a kind colourwork projects.

Fibre: 75% Super fine Merino Wool, 25% Nylon
Weight:  4ply fingering
Meterage: 400 metres per 100g hank
Recommended Gauges:
Socks: 35 sts x 44 rows per 10cm knitted swatch
Suggested needle size: Socks  2.25mm - 2.5mm or as pattern recommends
Garments:  28-30 sts x 36-38 rows per 10cm knitted swatch
Suggested needle size: 3.25mm or as pattern recommends
Care: Gentle machine wash in lukewarm water up to 40 degrees celcius, dry flat in shade

Dyelot Batches: Like all hand painted yarns, this yarn is full of subtle variation. We suggest buying enough in the same dyelot batch to complete your project as skeins may vary from bag to bag hence the separate dyelot listings. To ensure random color distribution, work from two balls of yarn at once, alternating a few rows from each ball.
