Designed by Brenda Green for Ashford in a light fingering or 3ply weight wool yarn, this knitted pattern is for a two-colour wide triangular shawl worked flat in lace and garter stitch sections.
One Size measures approximately 230cm long by 43cm deep.
Yardage required: approx. 900m in two colours - a Main colour and a Contrast colour - of a light fingering or 4ply yarn preferably with wool in it.
Note that this shawl can be made using any light fingering wool yarn provided the gauge matches. Try it in Ashford Merino 4ply wool here or with one of the Holst Garn yarns - Holst Garn Noble, Holst Garn Coast or even in Katia Baby Nature Organic Merino.
Gauge: 21 stitches and 52 rows for 10cm in Garter Stitch using a 3.5mm needle. Use a different sized diameter needle if your gauge differs from that specified.
Needle size: 3.5mm or as required to make gauge.
