A fine, opulent 3 ply thread is twisted into a single, non-divisible metallic thread by DMC made in Japan. Use for embroidery but also for holding together with strands of knitting yarn, for crochet or for weaving for an accent of sparkle. Soft, tangle-free thread that glides effortlessly through nearly any fabric including knitwear cotton, linen, silk and satin.
DMC Diamant is a smooth, non-divisible metallic thread that adds diamond-like shine to cross stitch and embroidery. This fine thread is equivalent to two strands of Mouliné stranded embroidery thread.

D140 89% viscose, 11% polyester
D225, D317, D5200, D321, D699, D310, 100% polyester D3821, D3852, D168, D415, D301, 72% viscose, 28% metallized polyester.
12 Metallic Colours available. If you prefer a thicker strand, then try the DMC Diamant Grandé Thread here. Diamant is half the thickness of Diamant Grandé embroidery thread. Each strand of Diamant is about the same thickness as two strands of Mouliné Spécial.
