The Cumulus Blouse is worked from the top down in stocking stitch with two strands of thin mohair/silk yarn held together throughout. The design has a deep rounded V-neck. All edges are finished with i-cord.

Size guide: The Cumulus Blouse is designed to have approx. 10-15cm of positive ease, meaning it is designed to be 10-15cm larger in circumference than your widest upper body measurement for comfort of wearing and layering.
Gauge: 18 sts x 26 rows = 10 x 10cm swatch in stocking stitch on 4.5mm needles after blocking.
Suggested needles: Circular needles: 4.5mm / 60 and 80 and/or 100cm; Double-pointed needles: 4.5mm unless using the Magic loop method on the sleeves.
Yarn: approx. 150 (175) 200 (200) 225 (225) 250 (250) 275 grams of a silk mohair yarn based on 212 metres per 25 gram ball. Note: Two strand of yarn are held together throughout. The given yardage amounts are the total yardage needed.

We have a wonderful Knitnstitch Shop Sample knitted in two strands held together throughout of Rowan Kidsilk Haze lace weight fluffy yarn with approx. 210m per 25g. Size M (with some modifications in arm and body length) used approx. 9 x 25g balls.
