This knitting pattern is for a long sleeved cardigan with stripes in complementary shades of the Luxurious Fusion 4Ply yarn - an exciting blend of silk, merino, linen and fine baby alpaca combined as a 4Ply / fingering weight yarn by Alpaca Yarns.
Designed with slight positive ease, this sweater has feminine shaping, a gently scooped neckline which is tidily finished with button bands. This pattern is made flat in pieces and these are then joined by sewing seams.
Tension: 24 stitches and 34 rows to 10cm stocking stitch swatch using 3.5mm needles.
Measurements: Sized to fit bust Small 80-85cm / Medium 90-95cm / Large 100-105cm / X-Large 110-115cm
Yardage: Depending on size chosen, a total of between 8 and 16 balls of Fusion Luxurious 50g or an equivalent 4Ply fingering yarn. If making in the coloured stripes, buy 2 -4 balls of each of four colours.
Needles: 3mm and 3.5mm or size needed to get tension/gauge.
Also requires: 8 buttons, stitch holder and wool needle for sewing up.
Suitable for intermediate knitters.
