Knitting Pattern designed for a 4Ply weight Alpaca Yarn - Indiecita 4ply Easy Wash by Alpaca Yarns - this baby sized blanket pattern is for an intermediate knitter.
Knit flat on a circular needle (to accommodate the larger number of stitches than a normal pair of straight needles), the pattern provides written instructions for the diamond pattern using a basic cable stitch, surrounded by an incorporated garter stitch border - no sewing up or picking up stitches.
Approx. measurements: 60 x 75 cm square.
Gauge: 28 stitches x 36 rows over stocking stitch using 3.25mm needles.
Materials:
Approx. 4 balls of the Indiecita 4ply Easy Wash or 664 metres of a similar weight 4ply natural fibre yarn.
3.25mm x 80cm circular knitting needles or size needed to give correct tension.
Tapestry Wool needle.
