Designed by Kaffe Fassett for Rowan Felted Tweed DK weight yarn.
Knit this accessory scarf from Kaffe's Colours using four vibrant shades of Rowan's beautiful tweed effect yarn Felted Tweed (wool, alpaca and viscose.) Using the intarsia method to create this eye catching, zig zag patterned scarf with fringing, this pattern is suitable for the more experienced knitter.
Approximate Yardage based on 175 metres per ball:
- Main colour : 3 balls
- Three Contrast colours: 1 ball of each colour.
- Please note that pattern allows for fringing with the Main colour yarn but buy more yarn if you want a longer fringe edge or want a different coloured fringe.
Gauge: 22 sts and 30 rows to 10cm swatch of stocking stitch pattern using 4mm needle or a suitable needle to get gauge.
Suggested Needles: 3.25mm and 4mm or as appropriate to get the pattern gauge.
