Product Information

Hanstholm Sweater Junior is knitted from top to bottom with raglan increases on the sleeve yoke. Short rows are worked after the neck rib edge to shape the neckline.

Size guide: The Hanstholm Sweater Junior should have a movement space (positive ease) of approx. 15cm in relation to the chest measurement.

Ten Sizes: 1-2 (2-3) 3-4 (4-5) 5-6 (6-7) 7-8 (8-10) 10-12 (12-14) years

Designed to fit to a chest measurement of approximately 53 (54) 56 (57) 59 (62) 64 (72) 78 (82) cm. 
Overall width of the sweater: 65 (67) 71 (74) 77 (81) 84 (88) 92 (96) cm
Length: 36 (37) 40 (43) 44 (45) 47 (49) 54 (57) cm (measurement center back incl. neckline)

Gauge: 21 stitches x 28 rows = 10 x 10cm square swatch in stocking stitch on 4mm needles.

Suggested knitting needles: Circular needle 4mm (40 cm and 60 or 80cm), circular needle 3mm (40cm), double pointed needles 4mm unless using the Magic Loop technique or the required needles to obtain gauge.

Materials: 250 (300) 300 (350) 350 (400) 400 (500) 500 (550) grams of a 10ply worsted weight or full bodied DK weight wool yarn (based on a yardage of 50 g = 91 m).
