Countrywide Yarns knitting pattern for a classic crew neck sweater/ jumper with rib hem, shaped armholes and sleeves and ribbed neckband.
Constructed in pieces and seamed, this pattern is suitable for advanced beginners who can achieve basic shaping and pick up stitches around a neck.
Designed in a DK weight wool yarn which has approx. 100 metres per 50 grams.
Four sizes from Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large
Based on approx. chest size of 84cm / 91cm / 98cm / 107cm
Note that the FINISHED sweater should measure approx. 89cm / 96cm / 103cm / 112cm which is approx. 5cm of positive ease.

Yarn. Balls Required: 8 (9, 9, 10) x 50 gram balls of DK 8ply yarn based on 100 m per 50g.
Needle size: 3.25mm and 4mm
Tension: 22 stitches and 30 rows in stocking stitch using 4mm needles. We suggest knitting up a sample swatch before starting to check tension/gauge so that the vest will fit as expected.
