Product Information
This is the adult Men's version of the Novice Slipover By PetiteKnit.
Construction overview
The Novice Slipover Man is worked from the top down in stocking stitch. First the back yoke is worked, and then stitches are picked up and knitted along the cast-on edge of the back yoke for the shoulders, which are worked and then joined together to form the front yoke.
The back and front yoke are joined at the underarm to form the body, which is worked in the round on a circular needle. Rib edges are worked along the armholes and the neck edge at the end.
Nine Sizes: XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL
Size guide
The Novice Slipover Man is designed to have approx. 10cm of positive ease, meaning it is designed to be 10-15cm larger in circumference than the recipient's chest measurement for ease of movement and for wearing over other clothing.
The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL are designed to fit a chest circumference of 86-91 (91-96) 96-101 (101-107) 107-113 (113-119) 119-124 (124-132) 132-144 cm.

Swatch First
Before beginning your project, measure yourself to determine which size will fit you best. For example, if you measure 101cm around your bust (or around the widest part of your upper body) you should knit a size L. A size L slipover has a bust circumference of 111cm, which in the given example would give you 10cm of positive ease.
Gauge: 20 stitches x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm square swatch in stocking stitch on a 4mm needle after washing and blocking
Needles: Circular needles: 4mm / 60, 80 or 100 cm and 3.5mm / 40 and 80 cm
