Charming baby blanket knitting pattern suitable for intermediate knitters.
Scallop shaped zig zag stripes in five gentle colours of your choice designed in Indiecita DK 100% Baby Alpaca or similar natural fibre merino wool blend yarn will warm your baby (or someone else's special bundle).
Finished size (approx.) 50cm x 90cm
Materials:
Requires 3 x 50g balls of Main Colour (cream) and 1 x 50g ball each of 4 other contrast colours. Total meterage approx. 500 metres (if using one colour).
Wool needle for weaving in ends.
Recommended needle size. 4.5mm needle either 60cm or 80cm long for knitting flat or as needed to give correct tension.
Gauge/tension: 24 stitches to 10cm square swatch using 4.5mm needles.
