Product Information

The Hipster hat is knitted from the bottom up. A fold is made at the bottom of the ribbed edge. The hipster hat can be knitted in a length so that it has a small top on the head, or in a length so that it sits close to the head. The hipster hat is for both women, men and children.

Four Sizes: baby (child) lady (men)
Measurements: Fits head circumference approx. 45-48 (48-53) 53-57 (57-60) cm

Gauge: 29 stitches x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm in rib stitch (K2, P2) on a 3.5mm needle.

Suggested Knitting Needles: Circular needle 3.5mm (40cm) and double pointed needles 3.5mm unless using the Magic Loop Technique.

Yarn approx.100 (100) 100 (100) grams of a 4ply weight soft Merino wool yarn (based on 235 metres per 50 grams) (knit with two strands)

or 50 (50) 100 (100) grams of a 5ply Sport or light DK 100% wool yarn (50 g = 175 m) (knit with a single strand).
