The Novice Cardigan Mini – Chunky Edition is worked from the top down. This means that you begin by working the ribbed neck edge, then you work the yoke, then the body and finally the sleeves. The cardigan is worked in stockinette stitch, while the edges are worked in rib. The Novice Cardigan Mini – Chunky Edition has a round yoke, which is shaped by working 4 sets of increases evenly distributed along the yoke.

Materials: 150 (150) 150 (150) 150 grams of a lightweight DK or sport weight yarn (based on 50 g = 150 m) held together with 50 (50) 50 (50) 50-75grams of a fine silk mohair laceweight yarn (based on meterage of 25 g = 212 m)). Note: Two strands of yarn are held together throughout (one strand of the thick yarn and one strand of silk mohair) The given yardage is the total yardage needed.
