Babies and Toddlers Cardigan designed in 4ply fingering weight Silk Merino wool yarn by Countrywide Yarns 40g by One Green Sheep. Made in pieces and sewn together, this cardigan has a lovely moss stitch yoke and contrasting bands, hems and cuffs with 3 top buttons to finish it off.
Three child sizes:
Chest measures: 6-12 mo (1-2 yrs, 2-3 yrs) 48 (52, 58)cm
Length 25 (28, 34)cm
Sleeve 17 (20, 24)
Number of 40g balls 2 (3, 4) based on 160 metres per ball.
Total of 320 (480, 640) metres of equivalent merino wool blend fingering.
Gauge: 28 sts and 38 rows to 10cm over stst using 3.25mm needles in stocking stitch pattern.
Needles and notions: 3.25mm, 2 small stitch holder, darning needle for seaming, 3 x 12mm buttons.
