Knitting pattern for a Baby sweater with cute Owl motif and matching hat using 4Ply weight wool yarn.
3 sizes from babies aged 6 months through to toddlers aged approximately 3 years old.
Knitted in a stocking stitch pattern with a garter stitch collar and button band. Charming Owl motif is made with a Cable needle. Finished with ribbed stitch cuffs, hem and brim of hat. Made in pieces from bottom up and seamed at sides and sleeves and along the edge and bands of the hat.
Sized to fit age, approximately - to fit chest (cm)
- 6-9 months - 43cm - 46cm
- 12-18 months - 48cm - 53cm
- 2-3 years - 58.5cm
Gauge: 28 sts and 36 rows over stocking stitch using 3.25mm needles.
Approx. total yardage: 540 to 1080 metres (based on 178 metres per ball)
Needles sizes: 3.25mm & 2.75mm
