Knitting pattern for a Baby sweater with Tab front and a cute Owl Pocket and matching hat using 4Ply weight wool yarn.
4 sizes from newborn babies and toddlers aged approximately 0 to 18 months.
Knitted in a stocking stitch pattern with a garter stitch collar and Tab front button band. Made in pieces from bottom up and seamed at sides and sleeves and along the edge and bands of the hat.
Sized to fit age, approximately - to fit chest (cm)
- Newborn - 36cm
- 3 months - 41cm
- 6-9 months - 46cm
- 12-18 months - 51cm
Gauge: 28 sts and 36 rows over stocking stitch using 3.25mm needles.
Approx. total yardage: 360 to 720 metres (based on 178 metres per ball)
Needles sizes: 3mm and 3.25mm
One Button for tab collar
Also needs: Cable needle for owl pocket, stitch holders & markers, contrast colour yarn for 'eyes'.
