Iaque - pronounced "Yak" is exclusive to Knitnstitch - a very soft Sport weight (perhaps even a DK weight) wool and yak blend yarn.
Slightly rustic in appearance with sections of natural, seemingly "unspun" roving. Perfect for sweaters, blankets and items not needing too frequent laundering.
Part of the Ecofriendly Collection of Natural Fibres from Rosarios 4 of Portugal. GOTS certified.
Fibre Composition: 89% Extra Fine Organic Merino Wool and 11% Yak
Weight: Sport / Fine DK
Meterage: 200 metres per 50g ball
Gauge: varies depending on needle size and knitter's own tension. Average tension 23sts and 34 rows per 10cm square swatch, washed and blocked. We highly suggest swatching to ensure you get a fabric you like for a garment or project that will fit.
Recommended needle: 3mm - 4mm
Care: Gentle Hand Wash
