857 Chalfield Textured Blanket with Moss Stitch Border Knitting Pattern

Keep warm this Winter with this pattern for a knitted throw or small blanket with a soft overall texture pattern bordered with Moss stitch that can be made out of either warm wool or cool cotton.  Stylish decor pattern suitable for an intermediate knitter.

Chalfield is styled in Peppin 10 fine Merino and Finch 10ply Cotton both by Fiddlesticks, or Bellissimo Linden Merino Cotton blend yarn.

Finished Size approx. 120cm Wide by 180cm Long.
Skill Level: Intermediate. Please note the pattern is written out in full - no charts.
Gauge: 18 stitches x 26 rows per 10cm square swatch in pattern using 5.5mm needle. We highly suggest you swatch to ensure size is correct and you will have the correct amount of yarn.

Materials: 28 balls of Fiddlesticks Peppin 10 (based on 82 metres per 50 gram ball), 20 balls of Finch Cotton or 29 balls of Bellissimo Linden or approx. 2300 metres of similar weight yarn.
Recommended Needles: 5.5mm x 120-150cm Circular Needle or as needed to make gauge.
Also required: wool needle for sewing up.
