844 Colbert Unisex Sweater 8ply DK Knitting Pattern

Note that this is a design that is worked on circular needles in the round from the neck and knited top down. Sleeves are created with raglan shaping increases and then separated from body. Sleeve stitches are held while the body section is knitted to the hem. Sleeves can be worked using either a small circular needle or a set of DPNs.

To fit Bust:  85-90 (95-100, 105-110, 115-120) cm
Actual Size: 106 (116, 126, 136) cm
Length: 68 (69, 70, 71) cm
Sleeve length: 48 (49, 50, 51) cm

Materials: Suitable for any cotton or cotton blend yarn with a DK 8ply weight. A total of approx. 1375 (1500, 1625, 1750) metres of equivalent 8ply DK weight yarn is required. OR a cotton merino blend OR a merino blend such as 11 (12, 13, 14) x 50g balls of Bellissimo Lucca DK or Bellissimo 8 100% Extra-fine merino or 12 ( 13, 14, 15) balls of Peppin 8. Pictured in Bellissimo Lucca Denim 50505

Gauge: 22 stitches and 30 rows over 10cm square swatch using stocking stitch pattern  using 4mm needles.
Recommended Needles: 4mm straight needles and a 3.5mm and 4mm 80cm circular needle. For sleeves, and neck band either a set of 3.5mm and 4mm DPNs or small circular needle or as needed to make gauge.
Also needed: 4 Stitch holders, wool needle.
