Product Information
Designed to be knitted in a 4ply fingering weight soft Merino wool yarn by Countrywide Yarns, this will be a go-to pattern for quick new baby gifts.
Singlet vest and booties knitting pattern sized for babies. Construction is that the singlet is knitted in one piece starting at the bottom front. Sides are then sewn together leaving space for arms. Booties are knitted flat and then joined underfoot and along back seam.
Three sizes: newborn to 6 months
Finished chest measures: 40 (46, 52) cm
Length: 24 (28, 33) cm
Yarn approx. All Sizes: approx. Total of 330 metres or equivalent of 1-2 balls of 4ply merino wool blend fingering yarn. Based on 165 metres per 50g ball.
Gauge: 28 sts and 36 rows to 10cm over stst using 3.25mm needles in unstretched Rib pattern
Needles and Notions: 3mm and/or 3.25mm and / or 3.75mm knitting needles, darning needle for seaming.
