Southwell is a classic top-down, seamless cardigan with raglan sleeve shaping and vivid cable panels trailing vertically down the front and side details. This will be a versatile cardigan and is very wearable with just about anything. It’s the perfect second layer that can be dressed up or down, and is light enough to be worn (almost) year round.

Requirements:
Yarn: Fingering weight / 4ply sock yarn
Gauge: 27 st and 36 rows over 10cm swatch in stockinette. Be sure to check your gauge is correct and use needle size necessary to obtain gauge to ensure correct fit and that you have enough yarn.
Meterage*: 1119 (1190, 1265, 1366, 1450, 1537, 1629, 1726, 1830, 1940, 2056) yards – Indicated yardage is for shorter/slightly cropped length (30cm from underarm). Longer body will require more yarn.*
Recommended Needle Sizes:
3.25mm (80cm) circular needle for body
2.25mm (60cm-80cm) circular needle for body/neck ribbing
3.25mm (30cm circular or set of 5 double pointed needles (DPN) for sleeves
2.25mm (30cm circular or set of 5 DPNs) for sleeve ribbing
Also needs: Darning needle to weave in ends; Stitch markers; 13 – 15 Buttons (18mm)
