Size Guide
Note that these measurements are only achieved if the correct gauge is kept.
The Sille Slipover is designed to have approx. 6cm - 10cm of positive ease, meaning it is designed to be 6-10cm larger in circumference than your chest measurement to ensure comfort and enable you to wear clothing underneath the sweater.
Begin by knitting a swatch to determine which needle size you need to achieve the correct gauge before starting the project. For example, if you measure 90cm around your bust (or around the widest part of your upper body) you should knit a size S. A size S slipover has a bust circumference of 96cm, which in the given example would give you 6cm of positive ease. If you would like a more oversize fit, knit a size larger.
Gauge: 20 stitches x 32 rows = 10 x 10cm in textured stitch pattern on 4mm needles with 2 strands of yarn held together, after blocking.
Suggested needles: Circular needles: 4mm / 60 and 80cm needles; Circular needles 3.5mm / 40cm and 60cm or Double-pointed needles: 3.5mm, unless using the Magic loop method on the armhole and neck bands.
Materials:
