Pattern for Knitted Cowl & Beanie hats with four options of colour and/or stitch pattern. DK/8Ply weight wool makes a quick knit and interesting project. Sized from 8 years to approx. 14 years old. Suitable for beginner knitters or young people. Design features Stripes, textures and pom pom options. Seamed construction.
Cowl Sized to fit age, approximately - circumference / length (cm)
- 8 -10 years - 66cm x 20cm
- 10 -12 years- 86cm x 28cm
Hat Sized to fit , approximately - head circumference (cm)
- 8 -10 years - 46-49cm
- 10 -12 years- 50-54cm
Approx. yardage (based on 105 metres per ball :
Cowl: 2 to 3 x 50g balls
Hats: 2 to 4 50g balls depending on option chosen.
Needles sizes: 3.75mm & 4mm or required to get gauge of 22sts & 30 rows per 10cm swatch.
Designed in Naturally Loyal DK/8Ply Wool or suitable for any DK/ 8 Ply wool yarn.
