ChiaoGoo's Forté 2.0 set includes tips that are a new combination of sleek stainless steel tip ends and both carbon fibre shafts on [S] sized tips and elegant blackwood shafts on [L] sized tips. This makes the [S] tips extra strong and the joins are smooth with the perfect grab to ensure your tips and cables stay connected when you want them to! The African blackwood on the [L] size tips are lustrous and slick for your yarn feed.
Also new is that the set also boasts the new [S} & [L] SWIV360 swivel interchangeable cables as well as 3 x TWIST Red [S] cables.
The high end set includes 14 pairs of 13cm long tips in diameter sizes 2.75 – 10mm including 3mm. Each threaded steel join is laser etched with the tip diameter and join size which will not wear off ever. Six memory-free SWIV360 cables, 3 TWIST Red [S] cables, steel scissors, a measuring tape, end stoppers, stitch markers, darning needles, a swatch/needle gauge and more are included! Plus, all Forté parts and pieces have [S] or [L] size joins so they are switchable with all similarly coded interchangeable parts.
Made of REACH compliant man-made material, the Forté case is just as elegant and functional as the tips and cables. It includes a double-sided, removable needle board that firmly houses all tips; elastic that securely holds but gives easy access to accessories; and four pockets to hold the rest of your knitting supplies including a spot for your pattern or notes. HELPFUL TIPS
When securing the connection with your tightening key, be sure to hold the tip by its metal join (not the shaft).
Occasionally wipe down your cables with rubbing alcohol to ensure a smooth yarn feed.
When removing stoppers from your cable, use two tightening keys to loosen the join and then unscrew by hand.
Store and handle your cables safely. They are memory-free, not kink-free.
