Created by Emma Wright for Erika Knight yarn, this knitting pattern is for a casual V neck long sleeved sweater dress knitted in stocking/stockinette stitch with long rib hems and cuffs. The dress is slightly A line in shape with a centre back vent.
Downhill is knitted and designed in a light worsted or 10ply weight yarn with high percentage of wool with yardage of approx. 170m per 100g or substituted with another natural fibre yarn with a 10ply / Aran / Worsted weight.
Four adult sizes.
Meterage: between 9 and 10 hanks or approximately 1538 to 1700 metres of equivalent 10ply weight yarn in total.
Gauge: 17 sts and 23 rows to 10cm measured over Stocking stitch using 5mm needles. Change needle size if necessary to ensure the correct tension.
Recommended Needles: 5mm knitting needles or as needed to get Gauge of pattern
Notions: Large eyed blunt tipped sewing needle, stitch holders
