Product Information

Meelup is a knitting pattern for a smart slightly oversized jumper sweater made in a lace stitch pattern with a v neck band in four adult sizes. 

Skill Level: Advanced - read this as a bit of patience and concentration, no matter what skill level you are at. Knit in the round on circular needles from the bottom band up to the underarm, then split and worked flat up to the shoulders. Sleeves are also knit in the round on either a small circular needle or a set of DPN needles. 

Measurements: S (M, L, XL) 
To fit Bust: 75-80 (85-90, 95-100, 105-110) cm
Actual Size: 104 (114, 124, 134) cm
Length: 63 (64, 65, 66) cm
Sleeve length: 43 (44, 45, 46) cm

Yarn Thickness: DK 8ply based on a cotton yarn with 120m per 50g ball or similar natural fibre.
Recommended yarn:  Bellissimo Orchard or Bellissimo Lucca.

Construction: Knit in the Round on circular needles from the bottom up as well as the sleeves. Be sure to check you have both large and small circular needles and/or Double Pointed needles (DPNs) at hand.

Gauge: 22 stitches and 30 rows over 10cm square swatch of stocking stitch using 4mm needles. 

Materials:
Yarn: 12 (13, 14, 15) x 50g balls of either Bellissimo Orchard, Fiddlesticks Wren or Bellissimo Lucca DK or total of approx. 1440 (1560, 1680, 1800) metres of equivalent 8ply DK weight cotton or a cotton merino wool blend.

Recommended Needles: 4mm and 3.25mm circular needles and either a set of 3.25mm and 4mm DPNs or small circular needle or as needed to make gauge.
Also needed: 2 stitch holders, wool needle.
