Designed in a DK 8ply weight soft Pure Merino wool yarn by Countrywide Yarns, this over vest knitting pattern will do the trick to keep your little one warm in the right places. Great gift for new parents too. Sized for babies.
Two sizes: 3-6 (5 -12) months
To fit chest: 46 (51) cm
Finished chest measures: 52 (57) cm
Length (approx. to top of shoulder: 25 (30) cm
Yarn approx. total of 300 (400) metres of equivalent 8ply DK merino wool yarn. Based on 100 metres per 50g ball.
Gauge: 22 sts and 30 rows to 10cm over stst using 4mm needles in stocking stitch pattern. We always highly recommend swatching fit to ensure size and enough yarn.
Needles and Notions: 3.75mm and 4mm knitting needles, stitch holders, 4 buttons and darning needle for seaming.
