Cedar, a plant based yarn, by Fiddlesticks is a cool alternative with sheen and drape and fills the unusual 6ply weight category.

Fibre: 60% Bamboo 40% Cotton    
Metreage per 50g ball: 125m
Weight/Thickness: 6Ply. We think that although Ravelry labels this yarn as a DK 8ply, we think it could be either because the fibre suggests using a smaller needle for good stitch definition.
Gauge/Tension: 23 sts and 33 rows per 10cm square swatch on 3.75mm needles.
Suggested Needle size: 3.75mm
Suggested Hook size: 3.75mm 
Care instructions: Warm Machine Wash / Do not bleach / Do not iron / Dry flat
