Construction is knitted flat in pieces and sewn together using mattress stitch then finished off with with decorative buttons.

Needles: 4mm and 3.25mm straight knitting needles

Gauge: 22 sts and 30 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch knitted on 4mm needles. Correct tension is Essential. Be sure to check your tension matches this pattern's stated gauge to ensure it will fit and you have the correct amount of yarn.  If your swatch has less stitches to the 10cm, your tension is too loose so use smaller needles.  If your swatch has more stitches to the 10cm, your tension is too firm so use larger needles.
