Knitting patternfor an oversized comfortable cardigan with raglan shaped sleeves and pockets in 2 styles. Note, the bulk of this garment is acheived by holding 2 strands of yarn knitted together at the same time.
Styled to be knitted in 4 different colours of Bellissimo 8 Ply 100% Extra fine Merino wool, Lucca or other soft 8Ply / DK double knit weight merino yarn.
Skill Level: Intermediate, knit in pieces and sewn together
Measurements: S / M/ L / XL
Actual Size: 75-80 / 85-90 / 95-100 / 105-110cm
Length: 55 / 57 / 58 / 59cm
Gauge: 11.5sts and 14 rows per 10cm stocking stitch swatch using a 9mm needle and holding the yarn doubled.
Materials: Yarn: 4 colours or a single main colour of 8ply DK merino wool yarn. Approx.total yardage between 1500 metres and 2000 metres depending on size made.
Needles: 5.5mm and 9mm plus a 5.5mm 80 circular needle or size required to give correct tension/gauge.
Also requires 5 buttons and a wool tapestry needle for sewing up
