This easy knitting pattern is for a Striped Vest for adult sizes designed in a sport/ 5ply weight yarn with excellent twist in alpaca and wool blend - Sporti.
It requires beginner knitting skills. Construction is knitting flat in pieces then sewn together with the neckbands and arm bands picked up to finish.
Three Adult sizes: S (M, L)
To fit chest: (80/85 (90/95, 100/105)cm
Actual Measurement (approx.) 90 (100, 105)cm
Length (approx): 51(52, 53) cm
Yarn required for Stripes - Main Colour (MC), 1st Contrast (C1) and 2nd Contrast (C2)( approx.) 3 balls of MC (Navy in image). 2 balls each of C1 and C2 (mustard and orange respectively of Sporti yarn with approximately 150 metres per 50g ball.
Please note that any alterations to the pattern may require extra yarn than stated. All measurements are approximate.
Gauge/Tension: 24sts and 32 rows to 10cm square of stocking stitch using 3.5mm needle.
Needles & Notions: 3.5mm and 3.25mm straight knitting needles, 3.25mm x 60cm circular needles, 2 stitch holders, Tapestry yarn needle to sew seams.
