Knitting pattern for an adult sized slipover vest designed as a quick easy and modern knitting project in a 14ply brushed alpaca yarn.
Made in pieces and sewn up at the shoulders and side seams, this vest is made largely in stocking stitch and has armbands that are picked up and ribbed to finish.
Tthree sizes: S (M, L) for a bust measurement of 80-85 (90-95, 100-115)cm
Finished garment should measure: 90 (100, 110) cm
Finished length (approx): 51(52, 53) cm
Materials
Yarn: approx. total of 400 (500, 600) metres of an airy 14ply yarn or 4 (5, 6) balls of Alpaca Yarns Indiecita Brushed 14ply yarn 50g. See the lovely range of colours here.
Knitting Needles: 4.5mm and 5.5mm needles or sizes required to give correct tension.
Also needs 2 stitch holders and a wool tapestry needle to sew up seams.
