Knitting pattern for a loose fitting, adult sized top designed as a quick easy and modern knitting project in a 14ply brushed alpaca yarn.
Made in two pieces and sewn up at the shoulders and side seams, this vest is made largely in stocking stitch, so is suitable for beginners.
Three sizes: S (M, L) for a bust measurement of 85 (95, 105)cm and two lengths (Short or Long)
Finished length (Short): 50 (51, 52) cm
Finished length (Long): 60 (61, 62) cm
Materials
Yarn: approx. for the short length, a total of 500 (500, 600) metres of an airy 14ply yarn or 5 (5, 6) balls of Alpaca Yarns Indiecita Brushed 14ply yarn 50g. See the lovely range of colours here.
Knitting Needles: pair of 6.5mm needles or sizes required to give correct tension.
Also needs a wool tapestry needle to sew up seams.
