Knitting pattern for a mock rib cardigan designed as a quick, easy and modern knitting project in a 14ply brushed alpaca yarn.
Made in pieces and sewn up at the shoulders and side seams, this ccardigan is made largely in a broken rib stitch.
Four sizes: S (M, L, XL) for a bust measurement of 80 (90, 100, 110)cm
Finished garment should measure: 100 (110, 118, 128) cm
Finished length (approx): 50 (51, 52, 53) cm
Materials
Yarn: approx. total of 800 (900, 1000, 1100) metres of an airy 14ply yarn or 8 (9, 10, 11) balls of Alpaca Yarns Indiecita Brushed 14ply yarn 50g. See the lovely range of colours here.
Knitting Needles: 4.5mm and 5.5mm straight needles plus 4.5mm and 5.5mm circular needles (80cm length) or sizes required to give correct tension.
Also needs a wool tapestry needle to sew up seams.
