Stolen Stitches Fine, Sport, 5 Ply, 6 Ply Carol Feller Linen Merino Yak

Product Information

Yarn blend from Irish designer Carol Feller, imported from the UK by Knitnstitch.

Nua really makes an ideal lighter weight yarn for trans-seasonal Spring and Summer garments. And with the great blend of high quality Yak, Merino and Linen, this yarn has a special attribute - in that it has both a natural feel but is sophisticated at the same time.

Consider Nua as a substitute for those treasured Rowan colourwork patterns but without the heaviness of thick wool.

Merino provides a soft, squishy, and versatile base. Yak adds a unique silkiness to the yarn that your fingers will simply love. Finally, linen adds strength, durability, drape and coolness.

Weight: Sport 5ply
Fibre: 60% Merino Wool, 20% Yak, 20% Linen
Skein: Approx. 50g = 140m
Needles: 3.5mm-4mm or as required to get gauge
Tension: 22-24 sts  = 10cm swatch knitted in stocking stitch
Care: Hand Wash

Pattern collection by Carol Feller designed specifically for this yarn available here and in store.

The blue-grey cardigan (using "Unexpected Macaw" - back view shown in the photo) is a Carol Feller designed Sugarcane Cardigan.
