Product Information
Knitted pattern for a Baby and Toddler Grandpa or Henley style short sleeved vest with contrast coloured striped details made in a 4ply weight Merino wool yarn with 4 sizes.
Note: Knitted from the top down in stocking stitch with plain body and striped details on sleeves. Part of the body and short sleeves are knit from the top down using double pointed or circular needles.
Sized to fit age, approximately - to fit chest (cm)
- newborn - 3 months
- 6-9 months
- 12-18 months
- 24 months
Gauge: 30 sts and 40 rows over 10cm broken rib stitch swatch knitted on 3.25mm needles
Materials:
Approx. meterage: (based on 175 metres per 50 gram ball).
Main colour - 1 (2, 2, 3) balls
Contrast Colour - 1 (1, 1, 2) balls
Needles sizes: 3mm and 3.25mm 60cm circular knitting needles plus 3mm and 3.25mm double pointed needles for working hat and the neckband.
Also needed: waste yarn or stitch markers, stitch holders. 3 (4, 4, 4) buttons.
Suitable for any 4Ply wool yarn and designed in Sesia Mistral 4ply Merino Wool yarn spun in Italy.
