2221 Crucci Luxury Baby Set 4ply Knitting Pattern

Crucci presents a 4ply Baby Set (Cardigan, Romper, Beanie and Socks) for babies aged newborn to 12 months in a versatile 4ply wool yarn.

Construction is knit in sections from bottom to top and seamed.  The beanie is also knit flat and seamed, with the socks likewise knit flat and seamed. 

This is an intermediate pattern suitable for knitters who are familiar with increases and basic cable patterns. 

Five sizes: Newborn (3 , 6 , 9 , 12) months
To fit underarm (cm) 35 (40, 45, 50, 52.5)
Actual Chest Size (cm) 40 (45, 50, 55, 57.5)
Length to back neck (approx, cm) 20 (23, 26, 29, 32)
Beanie to fit head (cm) 35 (40, 45, 48, 49.5)
Socks to fit foot (cm) 8 (8, 9.5, 10, 11)

Gauge: 28 sts and 36 rows over 10cm square swatch in stocking stitch using a 3.25mm knitting needle, or size as required to get the correct gauge.

Materials
4ply wool - between 2 and 3 50g balls for the cardigan, 1-2 for the romper and 1 each for the beanie and socks - see our range of suitable 4ply yarns here. 

Also requires:
1 pair each of 2.75mm and 3.25mm Knitting needles
5 stitch holders  for the cardigan
6 small safety pins for the cardigan
6 buttons each for the cardigan and romper
