Little Bad Wolf Baby Cardi and Hat Set 4Ply Knitting Pattern

Little Bad Wolf Baby Cardi & Hat knitting pattern by annahelenadesign is a fun set of cardigan and hat for babies up to 1 year old with gorgeous colourwork "wolf" face details using a 4ply fingering pure Merino wool yarn.

This cardigan is worked from the bottom up in one piece for the body. Each sleeve is knitted separately (seamed). The yoke is knitted with the body and sleeve as one. Suitable for a knitter with intermediate skills, this is a great starter pattern for embarking on colourwork.

Materials
Yarn: Merino wool 4ply based on 200 metres per 50g ball
Main Colour M:  2 (2, 3, 3) balls
Contrast White - A: 1 (1, 1, 1) ball
Contrast Grey - B: 1 (1, 1, 1) ball
Contrast Dark brown: 1 (1, 1, 1) ball
Needles: One pair each 3mm and 3.25mm straight knitting needles, or sizes required to give correct tension.  Optional - 1 pair each of 3mm and 3.25mm circular needles for Version 1 of the hat.
Notions: 4 markers, 5 buttons, tapestry yarn needle to sew in ends.
