1146 Modern Vest 14ply Knitting Pattern

Knitting pattern for a loose fitting, adult sized Vee neck slipover vest designed as a quick easy and modern knitting project in a 14ply brushed alpaca yarn.

Made in pieces and sewn up at the shoulders and side seams, this vest is made largely in stocking stitch and has deep vee neckband and armbands that are picked up and ribbed to finish. 

Four sizes: XS/S (S/M, M/L, L, XL) for a bust measurement of 75/80 (80/90, 90/100, 100/110)cm

Finished garment should measure: 92 (102, 112, 122) cm
Finished length (approx): 54 (55, 56, 57) cm

Materials

Yarn: approx. total of 500 (600, 700, 800) metres of an airy 14ply yarn or 5 (6, 7, 8) balls of Alpaca Yarns Indiecita Brushed 14ply yarn 50g. See the lovely range of colours here.

Knitting Needles: 4.5mm and 5.5mm needles or sizes required to give correct tension. 

Also needs 2 stitch holders and a wool tapestry needle to sew up seams.
