Working in the Round Circular knitting Classes 19th and 26th April 2023

Learn to work in the round on circular needles in this short 2 session class. Together we will work through yarn and needle selection to joining in the round to binding off, and everything in between. 

Project: Baby sweater / jumper sized approx newborn to 6 months.

Dates: 10:30am Wednesday 19th and 26th April 2023 plus (Optional) Show and Tell session at 11am on Wednesday 3 May

2 Teaching Sessions - approx. 1.5 hours each

Cost includes:

• tuition fee and hands-on guidance of 3 experienced knitters
• printed pattern
• enough machine washable 100% New Zealand Wool yarn for project
• use of a range of contemporary knitting needles within the class plus the *Option to buy any preferred needles at a great discounted price. Note this is separate cost and only available to purchase at the end of each class
• a small notions kit

For this course you will already know the basics of knitting including knit, purl, cast on, bind off and basic increase stitches. If you have recently learnt to knit and are ready to take the next step, or are a seasoned knitter who only knits flat for fear of the dreaded circular needle then this course is perfect for you. With three experienced teachers here to guide you, share their knowledge and demonstrate each part of the project with working samples and different types of needle options to help you gain the skills to work confidently on your own. 

To make it really easy and time-saving, we will provide enough wool to make the project during and between the classes. You can select your preferred colour on the day of class.** You can try out all the types of knitting needles for this technique in the class with the Option to purchase your preferred needles at discounted price.

Needles, lifelines, stitch markers and tapestry needle provided.

Payment: All classes are paid in full in advance and are non-negotiable and non-refundable. Class fee covers the cost of two sessions only on the dates set. We expect that some work out of class will be required to progress to the steps being taught.  You can expect that you have a finished item by the Show and Tell session.

Attendance: To get the most out of the class, attendance at both sessions is expected.  All participants are welcome to attend the Show and Tell session but this is optional.

Cancellation:  If you cannot make the class you are welcome to gift your place to another person provided they adhere to the T&Cs of this class. If we cannot proceed and cancel, then we will provide a full refund of the class fee.

If the class is fully subscribed and we have a waiting list, we will, at our discretion, return your class fee as store credit for future classes or products at Knitnstitch.

Materials: All tools and materials used in the class MUST be purchased from Knitnstitch. Please do not bring your own wool or needles.

Variations:  Any deviation from these terms and conditions is solely at the discretion of Knitnstitch management.
