Product Information
Silk Cloud is a near-weightless mohair and silk yarn that combines mohair's gorgeous halo with a silky sheen.
Sadly now discontinued, we have limited stock left...
Use for cloud-light lace projects, shawls and sweaters, or mix with another yarn for endless possibilities.
Weight: Lace / 2ply
Composition: 60% kid mohair, 40% silk
Texture: Fluffy
Size: 25g hank
Meterage: 300m
Gauge: 20 stitches over 10cm in stockinette on 4.5mm needles. Note the gauge will vary depending on project. Like other mohair, you can knit it ‘up’ or ‘down’ in gauge using a variety of needle sizes without losing stitch definition. Its core of silk (a significant 40%!) lends a beautiful lustre to the strand as well.
Care: Hand wash cold water, dry flat
