Wells is a knitting pattern with a gorgeous variation on a Rib stitch patterned cowl. Wells’ distinctive stitch pattern is showcased in an intriguing combination of Pebble, Silk Cloud and Twig. Completely reversible, there is no wrong way to style this dynamic accessory.
Two Sizes: Small (Large) 61 (122) cm circumference; 29cm tall
Construction: The cowl is worked flat from end to end, then sewn together.
Materials NOTE: Two strands of Yarn A and one strand each of Yarn B & C are held together throughout.
Yarn A: Shibui Pebble (48% recycled silk, 36% fine merino, 16% cashmere) 205 m per 25g skein - 2 (4) skeins = 350 (690)m
Yarn B: Shibui Twig (46% linen, 42% recycled silk, 12% wool) 174m per 50g skein -
1 (2) skein(s) = 175 (345)m
Yarn C: Shibui Silk Cloud (60% kid mohair, 40% silk) 300m per 25g skein -
1 (2) skeins = 175 (345)m

Gauge: 16 stitches & 27 rows = 10cm in Slip-Stitch Rib with two strands of Yarn A and one strand each of Yarn B and Yarn C held together, after blocking
NOTE: Fabric is intended to be stretched during blocking in order to open up the stitches, be sure to wet-block your swatch accordingly
Needle: One pair of straight or circular needles 5 mm or size needed to obtain gauge listed.
Tapestry needle also needed to sew up.
