Product Information

The Scramble Jacket is part of Erika Knight's Cotton Kids Collection.

Kid’s jacket knitted in basic garter stitch using two yarns of different colours held together to create a scramble effect. Simple to make with two little patch pockets and five buttons, buttonholes and a contrast colour cast off tip on the collar.

Technique: Two DK cotton yarns held together to make a thick fabric. Sample pictured uses 2 main colours and a third contrast colour for the collar edging.

Sizes available: approx age 1-2 years, 2-3 years, 3-4 years, 4-5 years
Gauge: 15 stitches and 26 rows = 10cm square swatch in garter stitch
Recommended Knitting Needle sizes:  4.5mm and  5mm
Meterage: approx. between 1100 - 1500 m depending on size.
Also required: 5 x buttons, stitch holders, stitch markers, wool needle for sewing up.
